At Spruce View Farms we are dedicated to the breeding and raising of outstanding Hanoverian and Friesian horses. Our goal is to be able to offer an animal true to it’s breed standard; one that possesses both the temperament and talent to satisfy the amateur and professional rider alike.

As breeders we realize the undeniable importance of the mare in the breeding equation. It is for this reason that all of our mares are either Elite or Ster mares that have competed successfully in sport or have completed their mare perfomance tests with good results. In addition, our mares descend from excellent motherlines and are all sired by internationally successful Hanoverian and Friesian stallions. Every year we delight in choosing the best possible match for our mares..one that will (hopefully) strengthen her weaknesses and compliment her strengths.

Though we do breed primarily for the dressage arena, some of our Hanoverians carry excellent jumper bloodlines allowing us to offer promising individuals suited to the hunter/jumper ring from time to time.
